Pilates is a form of strength training at a leisurely pace which is about building the internal support muscles. Pilates has a positive effect on increased mobility, better body control and posture as well as strength with the main emphasis on core muscles. The leisurely pace makes it suitable for everyone. Whether you need to downshift or train your body gently. This is a great way to prevent and take care of your back and your system in general. The more you do it, the heavier you will find it to be. Ends with relaxation.

Yin yoga

Duration: 60 min

Centre: Puls Trollåsen, Puls Langhus

Yin Yoga is a quiet yoga class. Here you get time to retreat a little from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and perform calm movements and deep stretches. An exercise (or asana, as we call it in Yoga) is held somewhere between 2-5 minutes. We create space in the body and head in addition to increasing circulation in connective tissue, deep muscles, joints and ligaments. Put down your mobile phone, dare to be present and take a good break. In Yin you can achieve meditative existence - which is a form of turning attention towards attention itself. Fits everyone. Especially you who are a stressful type :)

Ashtanga Yoga

Duration: 55 min

Centre: Puls Langhus

This is a dynamic form of yoga. The start is always a series of sun salutations before we encounter the same exercises/asana each time. Each asana is held for 5 breaths before we flow into the next movement. Here you get the opportunity to build strength and flexibility. Great if you're new or haven't exercised in a while. Equally excellent for those who do a lot of strength training and need to stretch out. Know that you don't have to be soft to go to yoga - soft is something you can become by going to yoga.
